Day 1 - at evening - camping at the Israeli Arava!

At 22:00 or before... our Jeeps will pick you up in Eilat, and we will drive to "The Black Canyon" –where our camp will be set. Then, time permitting, we will set out into the desert, learning navigation, about the stars, and about how to move and survive in the desert.

 

Day 2 - the real desert tour and adventure

Early in the morning, (06:30) we will start to climb through the "Black Canyon", and then climb over some colorful mountains, until we reach the "Hidden Gorge" (10:30). On the way we will learn the different survival skills in the desert, such as use of plants and other gifts of nature, shooting with Bow and Arrow (archery) and navigation in this area. If we find our way to the meeting point, Jeeps will wait for us there (11:00), and take us to our next navigation point (11:45), from which there is a short walk across the saddle, and unto the Yehoshaphat-cliff, where trained rappelling-instructors will wait for us, and help us learn how to climb and glide down a steep cliff. We will also eat lunch after the cliff-session (13:30). After lunch (14:30), camels will take us to ride to Nachal Shelomo, where the bus will pick us up. Mini Jeeps self drive can also be combined in our activities!
